JOHN BRADLEY

John joined Calibre as a founding partner in 1996 and currently heads up our Civil and Structural Engineering division.
He has been working in the field of engineering design for over 25 years. In 1991, John joined BKS Incorporated’s structural engineering division and spent the next five years specialising in reinforced concrete and post-tensioned flat slab design.
Over the past 23 years, John has developed and refined his extensive knowledge of structural engineering. His understanding of the economics and physical requirements of structural design is balanced with his commitment to the inherent serviceability, safety and durability constraints.
John is highly competent in the design of structural steel, masonry and timber, with specialisation in reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete. His current focus is on conceptual design and managing the civil and structural engineering of projects.

Renell joined Calibre in 2019 as managing director and partner, reinforcing our Project Management Division and helping us to efficiently implement projects from inception to completion. Renell with his intimate construction knowledge also adds value from a different perspective from our previous offering.
Renell has been working in the construction implementation field for over 23 years.
In 1996, he joined Murray and Roberts Construction as a site engineer. During his five years there, he rose to the position of site agent and gained significant exposure to various sectors in the construction industry. This was followed by a year at Sasol’s Secunda plant as a project manager (petro-chemical), primarily for refurbishment projects.
He then spent four years at Group Five Building in the design and construct division, which gave him his major exposure to the building industry. He implemented various prestigious projects, including offices, showrooms and shopping centres.

Over the next 13 years, Renell headed up Murray and Dickson Construction’s building division, growing it from a small entity into one of the major players in South Africa.
Under Renell’s leadership, the company undertook a wide variety of projects including institutional, shopping centres, offices, residential and large scale industrial developments. These projects included NEC framework target cost contracts and turnkey offerings.

Mark Temlett joined Calibre as a founding partner in 1996 and currently heads up our Project Management Division.
Mark has been working in the property development, project management and construction industry since 1989.
On completion of his BSc, he commenced work in the construction industry for his bursars, Goldstein Building. After gaining invaluable on-site experience with Goldstein, Mark joined BKS Consulting Engineers in their industrial project management division, where he enjoyed many successful years in the field of industrial and process plant project management.
Over the past 23 years, Mark has headed up the Project Management division within Calibre. He has gained invaluable experience in commercial offices, industrial buildings, retail centers and residential developments.
Mark has been actively involved in Property Development for the last 18 years primarily in the commercial and industrial field. His knowledge in the property development and development management field is unsurpassed.
